Time passing is change occuring, change is when something turns into another thing.
But either the thing causing that change is in existence already which means it instantly eternally was already turned into the other thing which means there was no change from one thing to another
Or, the thing causing the change isn’t in existence which means it never changed
but those two options mean change never happened, and those are the only two options to choose right? and we know change and time is passing happens in real life
The logical solution is that change indeed doesn’t exist, it’s just one of the most basic illusions of life. We can think of the past and the future as block-universe extensions of the present. Humans can only experience life and form memories along the arrow of time and entropy, so it’s natural for us to perceive life as constant change, heading from the past towards the future.
The 100% logical solution is to add that all dimensions should be circular. Eternal return, eternal cyclical universes etc. are illogical ideas because the temporal dimension isn’t circular, but they are fun to think about. Neither Western nor Eastern philosophy understands circular time.
Omnipresent being exists at all times, just like they exist at all places (being the ground of both), whereas our existence is limited to our times and places (being contingent in the ground).

There is the notion that time is simply a dimension above the 3rd.
A higher dimensional being could easily perceive it the same way you perceive a book.
It is technically correct that the events in the book are happening in sequence as per causality, yet from a higher dimension you can hold the entire thing in your hand as one single moment, one single book.
So does time happen all at once or not? Is that possibly simply a question of perspective and relativity the same way the interior of a moving car is stationary for you, but moving for someone who is standing by the road and looking at you drive by?
I think yous all are using temporal language to describe extratemporal things. It doesn’t all happen at once, because time is sequential.
You can describe segments of time as a single object though, certainly. Quantic analysis does this very thing. In fact it also often cuts it up and draws strange graphs of it.
