I don’t believe that he gave a perma ban for calling someone a slut. I mean, he ought to perma ban himself, if that’s the case.
There is a difference between an eloquent slur and a slur, and I have not seen FJ do the latter but many here do… there is a difference: one incurs a warning the other a perma ban.
Do adults not know the difference or how to conduct themselves in public, and know what is acceptable and unacceptable? Come on man…

I just never saw an instant perma ban. I’m impressed with FJ’s zeal.
There has to be a set of policies and a procedure in place for handling such problems. Generally, there are escalating consequences for infractions…warnings, short bans, long bans, permanent ban.
ES was here for 1 week. Did he get an opportunity to adapt to the rules of this Site?

He was definitely producing some posts which I enjoyed thinking about and responding to, if that’s any standard. But he certainly deserved a swift punishment. In the swiftness lay the zeal, so in my eyes FJ didn’t do anything wrong. It just revealed a bit of drama there.
A balanced approach might be more fruitful, so let’s hope he/she adopts this if they so choose to re-register - it is not ethical to let some remain at the expense of others… isn’t that what the UN is about, isn’t that the pinnacle of ethics, or ad a Dizzy Rascal said “fix up, look sharp”
