Here is how this should be handled. What i would do if i were a mexican.
If I’m legal and the cops round me up one day, detain me, find out I’m legal, and then let me go, they now owe me for wasting my time. Note that I’m not saying the feds can’t do the ICE thing. What I’m saying is they gotta pay for being wrong if they are. They’re not gonna just let me walk out and say, ‘Have a nice day’ to me. Nah. You gotta pay for that, bud.
If I’m illegal and the cops round me up, I’ll play the Marxist card. You are a government goon with an illegitimate badge on your shirt… and next time i jump the border, I’m coming to your house to deport you. And not back to Mexico, either.
So in either case it would be a bad idea to fuck with me if i were a Mexican.

I do not know. What I do know is that legally documented aliens are incarcerated without due process, denied necessary medication; being fed maggot laced food; only one meal a day; and are crowded into cages with strong lights 24h per day.

I wish people would devote as much energy to economic inequality than they do to illegal immigration, but of course illegal immigration is all about cheap foreign labor to bring down wages by the capitalists themselves.
Of course, and here’s the good news. The fast and steady rise in the cost of living forces employers to give Jose and Juanita more per hour simply because the shit the other capitalists are selling them (housing, insurance, medical care, auto maintenance, etc) is so fuckin’ expensive.
The beautiful thing about capitalism is watching them rip each other to shreds in their ruthless battle of competition. Selling us their own noose, as it were.
