It’s unbecomming of anyone, really, but it’s especially ironic coming from such a profoundly professed Christian.
Pride is one of the seven deadly sins.
If boasting in the Lord is a deadly sin, then may I go to Hell for 7 eternities!
Fortunately “pride” is no more sinful than “worship.” It only depends on the context in which it is discussed. (My point being that, the worship of idols, is a profoundly bad sin, but worship in and of itself, is not the cause of the infraction!)
As the Apostle Paul says:
So the one who boasts must boast in the lord. For it is not the one commending himself who is approved, but the one the Lord commends!
Oh how great it is to be commended by God, to be lifted up from our state of unrighteousness, and cleansed from our sins!
Mr. Anthem, you have fallen prey to a common misconception about the English word “pride” in its appearance in the text. You could more accurately refer to it as a “haughty spirit.” It is this “haughty spirit” that Paul condemns in Romans 1:29, and 2 Timothy 3:2, not pride in and of itself. In fact, in addition to the verse quoted above, we can see some Godly attitudes of pride in our fellow Christians being displayed by Paul in 2 Corinthians 7!
If you want to arbitrarily group “pride” in with a class of “bad things” then, please, be my guest, just realize that you cannot call the Christian to task for being proud of what our creator and savior Jesus Christ has done!

Note, I really don’t care about pride. It’s just you that should have the problem with yourself for it. I like your tactic of saying that you’re a sinner, as if that’s going to detract from the fact that you’re complimenting yourself.
