I think that if you say something is true over and over again, it becomes true, like politics. Our brain are great rendering devices, and due to schizophrenia reality molds to us, it is whatever we want it to be. However, we must also mold to reality too. It is this practical dichomoty, the empirical vs. the imaginative, which forms our dichotomy. We can only imagine and reform things which the world imposes on us.
Truths are true within a certain bounds…political truths and henids seem true, and they are kind of true within their bounds, but when you apply them to the totality of all interactions, the model gets soggy in the water. For example, banning all Muslims may seem like a good idea, but then there is a slippery slop problem. Truths these days are small scale models, they work for specialized purposes, nothing more. Kids go to college, so they can learn a specialized task, but in the big picture, they are pleebs, their births and deaths are insignficant, they are like insects.
Therefore life is about cutting out the crap and only taking the time to discuss ulimate truths, like what consciousness is and making a better world so we aren’t trapped in pain, like stupid animals. If you want to build an airplane, ask yourself why. I mean, what the hell is the point? Why are you going to pick up a book and read it, if its just going to wash away like the rest of your meaningless lives? What good does an airplane do? Your like an idiot rainbow dash, chasing after mirages. I was like that too as a kid, wanted to be a pilot, go to engineering school, airplanes were my idol, I worshipped them. Then I asked myself why.
I already explained what intelligence is, it is a dynamic process about exploring and adapting to one’s world. Ie. Samus Aran represents the human brain, and her scan visor allows her to obtain knowledge. We tackle problems like warriors, if we want to build a building, we pick up a book and learn how. We base books off our observations of emperical things. Samus has different beams for different purposes. We use a straight shot to tackle straightforward problems. The boss of consciousness, is not a straightforward problem, therefore it requires convoluted thought processes to tackle, as well as using the straight shot sporadically. Consciousness is a boss we must tackle, unless we want it to dominate us, and keep our land in the Great Poison.
What weapon am I using now? The weapon of metaphors. We use different weapons for different ends, we acquire more weapons as we explore and learn further. Some knowledge is static, others are fleeting, like a feather you try to grab but it pushes away when you try to reach it.
