Stop hand waving yourself.
You are trolling your own mind with religious delusions
What are those photos meant to be and why are you ignoring my replies.
I have shown you the Islamic teachings on the virgins of paradise, whom you falsely claimed to be whores (let alone the fact that thereâs no commerce in paradise) or FRUIT.
I have shown you the Islamic rules of war, which you have failed to acknowledge.
Whatever photos you may conjure up, l ask: what is that to do with Islam exactly? It could be you all dressed up for all l know or care. This debate is predicated on Islamic law and the implementation of it.
Your response is to show me examples of non-Islamic law and / or non-compliance with Islamic law. How is that a counterargument?
I swear to God you are a liar. You have established a pattern of lying. Your heart is hardened against Islam / any religion / God / spirituality to the point that you espouse barefaced fallacious arguments about it with zero shame. This utter lack of chastity makes me wonder how far your depravity goes.
Peace.
There are only three religions of any note.
The rest are spiritual teachings.
A religion has specific characteristics:
It has a core text considered divine in origin.
It is messianic, tolerating no alternatives.
It is nihilistic - contradicting experienced reality with metaphysical construct they cannot substantiate.
It is teleological - always promoting a telos.
Judaism, Christianity, Islam.
The triad of victimhood.
judaism is an amalgamation of spiritula traditinos, starting with ancient-Egyptian cults, Zoroastrianism, and finally Hellenic occultism.
Kabbalism, which many of the circumcizer are proud of, is not their creation.
They adopted Orphism, corrupted it - warped it to their needs - and the resold it as their own insights.
Gnosticism is a byproduct.
These religions are methods of placating human populations, particularly of the lower stratumsâŚthose with median or below median IQ; those who are ill, feel vulnerable, are afraid of death, and so on.
They take advantage mankindâs weaknesses.
Slave morality for those feeling wronged by natural selection.
Definitely try the username Satire for a week, see if you like it.
By making up false backstories about various religions and then ridiculing those backstories, youâre technically ridiculing yourself.
To dissect your lies:
You say elsewhere that Judaism arose from Zoroastrian (which arose from? And arose from? Inconventient question, sorry l asked), Christianity arose from contact of Judaism with Hellenism, and Islam arose from contact of desert tribes.
This is the 99.9% accuracy fluorescent marker for someone talking ad hoc nonsense that doesnât need to read up on a subject, they can just osmose it with their eyes closed, or at least watch Lawrence of Arabiaâs first half before it got boring, and then find a forum to lecture about Abrahamic faiths - Islam started in a city and then moved to another city, then returned to the original city, l feel bad telling you this as l need people like you to show themselves up by saying desert tribes.
You say the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was rejected by Jewish Rabbis and thus he created his own religion and change the prayer directoin to the Black Box in Makkah. What do you base this on? The Qurâan tells us not to ridicule other faiths, it doesnât read like it was made up by a man that was rejected by Rabbis. Who would need a Rabbiâs permission? For what? To be a prophet? As if a Rabbi would need to give permission or would ever give permission for that?
And why approach Rabbis in the first place? Why not just go full Sadducee and create a new Temple and Central Bank? Or go Zealot or even full Sicari?
In fact, Makkah was the commercial hub of the Arab trade routes. It was a pagan hub. The Prophet was eventually offered a powersharing deal after years of persecution, whereby his God would be worshipped as an idol alongside the other idols. He refused. He changed the prayer direction to Makkah in the run up to conquering it.
All the while, he would live as a poor person, even sleeping on the floor on a bed of palm leaves so that the leaves would leave an imprint on his back.
He even prevented his daughter Fatima from inheriting a tree lest his family would become a worldly institution. In fact he wept when the Angel Gabriel (peace be upon him) foretold the death of his grandson Husayn long before it happened. This wasnât some colossal money grab for Muhammad.
Revisionists refer to Abrahamic revelations as idle time in the library, monkey-business on a sunny afternoon, mixing one religion with another, seeing what they could get etc. How trivial. All of the Prophets, especially as l see it Moses, Jesus and Muhammad - bless them all - lived lives filled with horror. Their religions had no need for Zoroastrianism or Hellenism or Phariseeism for that matter. Also, all nations have received at least one Prophet from God so yes there will be commonalities.
You even say - as do other revisionists - that the Prophet got jealous that Jews had chosen people status, so he copied their faith and ⌠?
Who cares about chosen people status except people that have been chosen? If someone is so cynical as to covet chosen people status, and copy it, then surely it means they donât believe a whit of it to be true? So why get jelly to begin with?
Nor did the Prophet bring a racial religion, for the first time ever he brought a universal faith for all mankind.
He didnât guarantee Muslims paradise, in fact he indicated either 99 in 100 or 999 in 1000 people will go to hell.
Does any of this sound like a colossal money grab? I think youâre just spreading lies with a haughty mind and callous hand.
P.S. Even if - as you claim - l have a median / below median IQ as do all my loved ones etc. - that doesnât make my religion false. My religion doesnât need a high IQ.
Iâd like to take on this Revisionism of Abrahamic Faiths in an official debate - @Bob @felix_dakat - Iâll take you both on in a clinical debate format with a neutral party overseeing.
Sorry @Satyr - you are obviously high IQ but something about your writing style makes me think you need peace in your life and debating with me could prove disorienting.
Judaism arose from a synthesis of ancient-Egyptian cults, Zoroastrian, Orphism, monotheism and Platonism, to name only the major influencers.
They shaped and warped all these spiritual teachings and occultism into their victim version. Scapegoating.
Islam was an outcrop, and Christianity.
Victim spiritual teachings offering comfort to the worldâs downtrodden and desperate.
Christianity spread among Romeâs slaves and then spread into the upper strata, finding, there, weaknesses and anxieties to placate.
@Lorikeet My good man it sounds like youâre responding to a Rorschach test. These posts are useful to get the general story arc of Revisionism but l need something more constructive. Iâd like an official debate in 5 rounds @felix_dakat and @Bob
I intend to show your Revisionism as fanciful and a squatting attempt in Mansion of History - which already has a tenant. Youâve produced no valid documentation to establish yourselves in the place.
Official debate? Who will be the officials?
What will you be arguing?
Facepalm
What position will you be arguing?
The Muslim position?
First, tell me how you justify your godâs existence.
I donât want to waste my time on imbeciles.
I have an average IQ l think, sorry!
Define god, for meâŚaverage IQ.
First, tell me how you justify your godâs existence.
Godâs existence seems more real in
a world of beauty and logic.
Godâs existence seems more false
in experiencing stupidity, suffering, random damage,
loss, injustice, death, etc.
The two clash.
A variety of interpretations arise.
What ever happened to the simple good things?
Things that are omnipresent?
Unfortunately, pain and suffering are part of life because life is a test. Anything that is unscathed by life, is being treated as furniture, inanimate, with no share in the hereafter. People that are suffering are often the decent ones even though well-to-do people assume them to be hapless fools, authors of their own destruction. In fact theyâre really living life.
âDonât tell me how educated you are, tell me how much you have travelled.â â supposedly a quote from Mohammed.
God, as the Abrahamics define the concept, is a Platonic idealization of manâs existence. It only exists in human brains as a vague notion of perfection⌠or absolute order, beauty, power, knowledge etc.
In all three it also has an additional function.
It represents the collective of beleiversâŚthe church.
This is why all three are intolerant and messianicâŚthe quantity of believers determining the power of their god.
A totalitarian, authoritarian, intolerant, jealous god representing its followersâ desires.
Iâve not read that one. The Prophet is quoted by As Suyuti as saying: âThe ink of the scholar is holier than the blood of the martyrâ or similar wording. Salafist scholars of modernity grade it as fabricated, but l feel thereâs truth in it.
On the other hand, thereâs Qurâan 62:5: âThe likeness of those who are entrusted with the Law of Moses, yet apply it not, is as the likeness of the ass carrying books.â
I feel this latter quote isnât an attack on learning itâs just that religious communities degenerate into the religous equivalent of equivalent of Netflix password sharers and illegal power hookups for growing weed. All the illegal paraphernalia derived from the original Revelation, that is the assâs load. Itâs the idol-intercessors and wives of God and salaried clergy that we discussed in the other thread, that is the assâs load. It came after, and derives all power from, the original Revleation. No other explanation will do. People wonât fight over religion if it was a meme from the start.
No, I donât think it is attacking learning either, but it does assume that he knows better how to apply the Law of Moses. This is probably why people assume that he had a chip on his shoulder and wanted to improve Judaism and above all Christianity. According to Karen Armstrong, who said (I transliterate) that Muhammad is the type of man needed at all times, he didnât speak of superseding Judaism, but the Qurâan claimed that it was restoring the pure monotheism of Abraham which had been corrupted in various, clearly specified ways by Jews, and Christians.
Your translation of what is meant doesnât ring true, instead the basic form of the rabbi developed in the Pharisaic (167 BCEâ73 CE) and Talmudic (70â640 CE) eras, when learned teachers assembled to codify Judaismâs written and oral laws, no longer able to adhere to the Temple cult. Some say that it was the way the Torah was written many centuries earlier, that made this existence as a people without a state possible. Rabbi is not an occupation found in the Hebrew Bible, and ancient generations did not employ related titles such as Rabban, Rabbi, or Rav to describe either the Babylonian sages or the sages in Israel.
The prophet Muhammadâs views on Jews were formed through the contact he had with Jewish tribes living in and around Medina. His views on Jews include his theological teaching of them as People of the Book (Ahl al-Kitab or Talmid), his description of them as earlier receivers of Abrahamic revelation; and the failed political alliances between the Muslim and Jewish communities. However, he did secure equal rights for both Jews and Muslims as long as Jews remained politically supportive.
