Lies About Religion

@Sculptor
You go about spreading stereotypes about my religion at a time when we face intense persecution. You are not objective and you randomly accuse me of being a tail-less fox on another thread.

You are bad quality, you spread uneducated lies, impossible lies. Like many of your kind, you focus on young females, projecting your desire for them and saying it is Muslims that want virgins, but not you, you want older women for sure. I guess someone else will have to take their virginities, not you though, ho-no, you are far too noble. You then supposedly return to sitting on a spike suspended in an aesthetic vacuum while doubtless reading Cicero in the original Latin. Ugh gimme a break, you’re an internet stereotype.

If you want to establish this claim then please show evidence.
WIthout evidence and argument all you are engaging in is a cheap ad hominem.

Please show the passage from the Koran or the Hadith, and explain it.

I do not “want older women” .
In my life I have enjoyed many women of various ages. I am happy with my partner of 20 years and we are both “old”.
I do not expect to go to heaven when I die, but it seems that Islam does offer some sort of sexual inducement to encourage Jihad.
Please correct me if this is not the case.

Hello, if you want to open a debate about it, attacking Islam in all points you think you can raise within 12 controlled 1 on 1 rounds then l’d be happy to.

You made the claim about virgins of Paradise on another thread and l didn’t want to disrupt that thread as it was quite an emotional subject and your interjection was badly off topic there.

So please, assemble your quotes about the virgins of paradise etc. Also explain what you mean by “Jihad”, to me it’s an obvious term but to non-Muslims it’s been twisted out of form to mean an act of extremism via “political Islam”. So please, show me what Islam says and show me what you mean by “Jihad”.

Also explain to me what you would want in heaven should heaven exist and should you be there for eternity.

Also please explain why you been hanging around with a woman for 20 years, did you want to do rude stuff to her? I’m shocked. It’s 100% my business and 100% unexpected that you’d want to do all that weird inimate stuff with her, right? It’s uncalled for right? It’s not how people should be, right?

I’m pretty sure that the way this works is that you quote my claim then refute it.
I already responded to this question, and you avoided answering it.

So do you deny this to be part of Islamic ideology? Or are you trying to claim it is not how it appears, and that it’s not to be taken literally??
The claim that 72 virgins await Muslim men in heaven originates from certain hadiths (sayings of the Prophet Muhammad), particularly those found in Sunni collections such as Jami’ at-Tirmidhi and Sunan Ibn Majah. These hadiths describe rewards in paradise, including houris (heavenly maidens), for righteous believers.

Or maybe you deny that this might act as an inducement, true or not. This is what Muslims beleive and have been told by imams?

Not sure what your problem is here.
Men have been living with women for 100,000s of years, long bfore Yahwah, Islam, or Mo were invented by people.
And everything you said “right” to is not.

I’m pretty sure that the way this works is that you quote my claim then refute it.
I already responded to this question, and you avoided answering it.

Your claim was vague. I need the source quotes, as requested.

What does Islam say about virgins in Paradise?

Further, on what authority do you say this was an error and what was meant was that men will have raisins or grapes or whatever it was, in Paradise, and not these virgins?

Further, what does Islam teach about people who are martyred, what is their reward in Paradise?

Also what does Islam teach about the reward of women in Paradise?

Also what would you want in Paradise, hypothetically speaking, seeing as you have no belief in it? Would you like some female company too? Or is that just me.

  • Define “Jihad” because you make it sound like a special noun (as do most non-Muslim commentators, there’s a huge hysteria about it, so l want to get the definitions cleared up first), whereas l’m certain in Islam it means “war” and as such, every army in the world from USA to Bhutan to Liechtenstein
 is a Jihadist organisation.

- To summarise: define “Jihad” and define what Islam promises for people that engage in Jihad, and define what is meant by “virgins of paradise” in Islam and the basis for saying it’s grapes not women. From the Islamic sources. I have a general idea of what Islam teaches but l’d hope for you to do an equal share of Googling as myself.

EDITED to sound less confrontational.

I doubt anything I offer is going to satisfy.
People of “faith” are demonstrably people who have given up on thinking through evidence

But here it is:

. Quranic Descriptions of Physical Pleasures

The Qur’an frequently describes paradise as a place of material and sensory delights, including luxurious gardens, flowing rivers, delicious food, fine clothing, and beautiful companions. These descriptions emphasize the tangible and pleasurable rewards that await the faithful.

Food and Drink

  • “Eat and drink with satisfaction for what you used to do.” (Qur’an 77:43)
  • “In them [gardens] will be fruit and date palms and pomegranates.” (Qur’an 55:68)
  • “They will be given a drink of pure wine, sealed.” (Qur’an 83:25)

These verses suggest that paradise offers not only sustenance but also luxurious delicacies far beyond what is available in the worldly life.

Comfort and Luxury

  • “Reclining on adorned couches, they will feel neither the scorching heat nor the bitter cold.” (Qur’an 76:13)
  • “They will wear garments of fine silk and rich brocade, and they will be adorned with bracelets of silver.” (Qur’an 76:21)

These descriptions reinforce the idea that paradise is a place of ultimate physical comfort and aesthetic pleasure.

2. The Concept of Houris (Heavenly Maidens)

One of the most commonly cited aspects of paradise’s pleasures is the presence of houris—heavenly maidens described in various hadiths and Quranic verses. These companions are often depicted as beautiful, pure, and created specifically to reward believers.

  • “And We will marry them to fair ones with large, [beautiful] eyes.” (Qur’an 44:54, 52:20, 55:72)
  • “Indeed, for the righteous is attainment—gardens and grapevines, and full-breasted [companions] of equal age, and a full cup.” (Qur’an 78:31-34)

Hadith literature expands on these descriptions, with Jami’ at-Tirmidhi (Hadith 2562) mentioning that even the lowest-ranked believer in paradise will have 72 wives.

Scholars who take these descriptions literally argue that such verses and hadiths affirm the physical pleasures awaiting the faithful. Others interpret these descriptions as metaphors for divine blessings, but traditional scholars maintain that physical pleasures are indeed part of paradise’s rewards.

3. Eternal Youth, Strength, and Desire

Islamic texts also describe how believers in paradise will be restored to a state of eternal youth and vigor, with enhanced physical abilities, including an increased capacity for pleasure.

  • The Prophet Muhammad is reported to have said: “In Paradise, the believer will be given such and such strength in intercourse.” Someone asked, “O Messenger of Allah! And will he be able to do that?” He said, “He will be given the strength of a hundred men.” (Sunan Ibn Majah, 4337)
  • Another narration states that inhabitants of paradise will be 33 years old, the prime age of youth and vitality (Musnad Ahmad, 10831).

These hadiths indicate that paradise is not only a place of rest but also a realm where human desires and pleasures are enhanced and eternal.

4. Companionship and Love in Paradise

Paradise is not only about individual pleasures but also about companionship, love, and joy shared with family members and loved ones.

  • “Enter Paradise, you and your wives, in happiness.” (Qur’an 43:70)

This verse suggests that believers will be reunited with their loved ones, enjoying both physical and emotional fulfillment in paradise.

OKthank you i’ll get back to you within 48 hours

Hello,

Here was your original post:

You then say in the post l’m replying to:
People of “faith” are demonstrably people who have given up on thinking through evidence

You then say:

MY REPLY: I have no objection to this and am unsure how it bears on your original inflammatory remark.

MY REPLY: This is a world away from what your original misrepresentation of Islam, which was:

"sex slaves

some trnascriptions use the word “whore” or “haw”, So it’s either 72 pros or 72 berries??"

The Qur’an quotes them as being Companions, not sex slaves. I object to the term “sex slaves” as it implies oppression, inequality. There is no injustice in Heaven, and as l say, the Qur’an mentions them in the context of Companions. Qur’an quotes you may have missed, describe them as wives (44:54), “Lovers, friends” (56:37) and “pure companions” (2:25), and “the good and beautiful” (55:70), for good men (56:38) etc. etc. etc.

Yet you have then called them “Whores”. This is extreme misrepresentation and false. They are clearly not prostitutes, and no description of them in the Qur’an or Sunnah supports your calling them such, and in fact Islam clearly teaches they are the antithesis of that.

You have given no source for them being “berries” either and l’m unsure how a berry can be a person’s lover, friend, companion or have breasts.

The term in Arabic is “Houri” which perhaps entered the English language via the German word “Hure” as intermediary, in the sense of “maiden” being turned into “maid” which in English is sometimes colloquial for “whore”. Google gives a different etymology (via Latin “Carus” meaning “dear”).

So anyway: I think “Houri” means “maiden”. I have read a different etymology, as “bright / beautiful” as follows:
Al-Hawra’ is a woman in whose eyes are lined with kohl, beautiful and bright. Al-‘iyn refers to beautiful and huge eyes. The beauty of eyes in the female is one of the greatest signs of beauty. [Source: Description of al-hoor al-‘iyn in the Quran and Sunnah - Islam Question & Answer ] . I guess that is why they are called “Al Hour al-'Ayin”.

POINT OF INTEREST: VIRGINS

The Qur’an, Islam’s primary text, states:

Chapter 55:
055.070 Wherein (are found) the good and beautiful -
055.071 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? -
055.072 Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions -
055.073 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? -
055.074 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them -

Chapter 56:
056.035 Lo! We have created them a (new) creation
056.036 And made them virgins,
056.037 Lovers, friends,
056.038 For those on the right hand;
056.039 A multitude of those of old
056.040 And a multitude of those of later time.

That is to say:
They are a SEPARATE, NEW creation (see 56:35 above)
**UNTOUCHED (NOT EVEN SEEN) by any other creation (see 55:74 above). **

**They are not human, they are an archetype, and thus are already perfect, rather than requiring an upgrade as humans require, when they enter paradise. The virgins of paradise are a separate creation that is already perfect. **

They are lovers and friends (as addressed earlier, in response to your calling them “sex slaves” and “whores”) - see 56:37.

As per 56:38-40 (“For those on the right hand” etc.), it is seen that the Virgins of Paradise being for good men, of whom there will be a multitude from times before Islam and since Islam came about (note the ecumenicism of Islam there, it acknowledges that there were a multitude of good people before Islam, which surely includes Pre-Noahides, Noahides, Abrahamites, Jews, Sabians, Christians, etc. and this surely includes people of all nations. Is there are more equitable belief systsem?

You then say:
Hadith literature expands on these descriptions, with Jami’ at-Tirmidhi (Hadith 2562) mentioning that even the lowest-ranked believer in paradise will have 72 wives.

**MY REPLY: **
This is a critical shortcoming of the Western view of the “Barbaric, animalistic” Orient. You did not quote the ahadith, we need to get into the details to understand. The ahadith explain a lot about the Virgins of Paradise.

Here are some ahadith l have found:

  1. It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The first group will enter Paradise looking like the moon on the night when it is full, and those who follow them will be like the brightest shining star in the sky. Their hearts will be as one, and there will be no hatred or jealousy among them. Each man will have two wives from among al-hoor al-‘iyn, the marrow of whose calves can be seen from beneath the bone and flesh.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, no. 3014; Muslim, 2843).

  2. Ibn Hajar (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
The stunning beauty of the hoori is such that the marrow of her calves can be seen from beneath her clothes, and a man will be able to see his face in the liver of one of them, like a mirror because of the fineness of her skin and the purity of her colour. (Fath al-Baari, 8/570)

  3. It was narrated that Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “If a woman from among the people of Paradise were to look out over the earth, she would illuminate everything that is in between them, and would fill everything that is in between them with fragrance. And the scarf on her head is better than this world and everything in it.”

  4. There is a confusing summary of ahadith at the following webpage, which has a Salafist leaning and so overlays traditional Islamic beliefs with comments from later Salafists (Ibn Taymiyyah, Uthaymeen, Bin Baz, some of whom are alive today and therefore not part of Islamic tradition), so l’d urge some discernment: Number of Huris a Muslim Will Get in Jannah - Islam Question & Answer

  5. My impression is: If man and wife are both good people, they will remain married in heaven too. The human wife will surpass the Houri creation (the Virgins of Paradise) by a degree or more in beauty, the human wife thus perfected in Paradise will be known as a Queen of Paradise. This is an important distinction but the Islam Q&A site casts some doubt on this. I’m not really piqued about this myself.

This is backed up in what you quoted by the way, where you said:

Paradise is not only about individual pleasures but also about companionship, love, and joy shared with family members and loved ones.
“Enter Paradise, you and your wives, in happiness.” (Qur’an 43:70)
This verse suggests that believers will be reunited with their loved ones, enjoying both physical and emotional fulfillment in paradise.

MY CONCLUSIONS:
- The Houris are a separate creation
- They are an archetype (if you read Plato, that is the sense)
- They have never been seen by humans nor spirits, and thus obviously, never been touched - so they are as virginal as you will find. I’m unsure if even angels have seen them, though l’ve read there are angels that aren’t even aware that we humans exist, they are so far removed from worldly matters.
- They have transparent skin, possibly giving the appearance a woman gives in this world when she wears lace, i.e. seeing through the skin to the veins and bones. Obviously it’ll be way better than that thought.
- Even their clothing is archetypal, and thus worth more than the entire earth, literally the entire earth, all the good things you’ve ever seen and can ever see, are worth less than a Houri’s veil.
- I have also read, but can no longer trace the saying, that when a man first sees a Houri, he will just stare at her transfixed in awe for several decades

CLOSING NOTES:

33 YEARS OLD etc:

You then say:
3. Eternal Youth, Strength, and Desire

Islamic texts also describe how believers in paradise will be restored to a state of eternal youth and vigor, with enhanced physical abilities, including an increased capacity for pleasure.

The Prophet Muhammad is reported to have said: “In Paradise, the believer will be given such and such strength in intercourse.” Someone asked, “O Messenger of Allah! And will he be able to do that?” He said, “He will be given the strength of a hundred men.” (Sunan Ibn Majah, 4337)
Another narration states that inhabitants of paradise will be 33 years old, the prime age of youth and vitality (Musnad Ahmad, 10831).

These hadiths indicate that paradise is not only a place of rest but also a realm where human desires and pleasures are enhanced and eternal.

MY REPLY: The only thing that makes me ponder about this is the fixed age of 33 for all of us, the rest seems to naturally flow from what one would expect.

MARTYRS:

I think you also made mention of “Jihad” saying that 72 houris are a reward for Jihad, but l cannot find where you wrote that - maybe l misread.

There are different statements about this subject. I have read that martyrs get Houris, but a very common belief, in the second greatest book of Hadith (Sahih Muslim) is that martyrs will be transformed into Green Birds which nestle in chandeliers near the Throne of Allah, and remain in perpetual bliss thereat.

I personally don’t feel shame to say Islam teaches that martyrs get Houris. I think it’s a very conflicted mindset that feels shame at this and relief at saying they get transformed into Green Birds.

However, l feel more inclined to think martyrs get transformed into Green Birds that are in eternal rapture, nestled in chandeliers around the Throne of Allah - because that seems logical given that Allah is perfection and the closer you get to him, the better.

The metaphor for the Sufi spiritual quest is the Nightingale migrating to, and singing its heart out for, the Light / Rose, which is the Soul of Allah, and thus the concept of the Green Bird harmonises with this.

Here is the hadith:

Sahih Muslim 1887 - The Book on Government - كŰȘۧۚ Ű§Ù„Ű„Ù…Ű§Ű±Ű© - Sunnah.com - Sayings and Teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Ű”Ù„Ù‰ Ű§Ù„Ù„Ù‡ Űčليه و ŰłÙ„Ù…)
We asked 'Abdullah about the Qur’anic verse:" Think not of those who are slain in Allah’s way as dead. Nay, they are alive, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord
" (iii. 169). He said: We asked the meaning of the verse (from the Holy Prophet) who said: The souls, of the martyrs live in the bodies of green birds who have their nests in chandeliers hung from the throne of the Almighty. They eat the fruits of Paradise from wherever they like and then nestle in these chandeliers. Once their Lord cast a glance at them and said: Do ye want anything? They said: What more shall we desire? We eat the fruit of Paradise from wherever we like. Their Lord asked them the same question thrice. When they saw that they will continue to be asked and not left (without answering the question). they said: O Lord, we wish that Thou mayest return our souls to our bodies so that we may be slain in Thy way once again. When He (Allah) saw that they had no need, they were left (to their joy in heaven).

JIHAD:

**As l say, you mentioned Jihad somewhere, in connection with Houris. Let me explain: Jihad in Islam means war, struggle. The Outer Jihad is physical, the Inner Jihad is spiritual. **

The Inner Jihad is called the Greater Jihad, the Outer Jihad is called the Lesser Jihad (though it seems way harder, being chopped up and shot at etc.)

As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
Muslim tradition reports that, when Muhammad returned from battle, he told his followers “We return from the lesser jihad to the greater jihad.” The greater jihad is the more difficult and more important struggle against one’s ego, selfishness, greed, and evil. [Source: United Nations Alliance of Civilizations - https://www.unaoc.org/repository/Esposito_Jihad_Holy_Unholy.pdf]

Once, upon returning from a battle, the Prophet Muhammad said to his companions, “We have returned from the lesser jihad to the greater jihad; the jihad of the soul.” Here the term jihad refers to the spiritual exercise of opposing the lower self. This is referred to as the greater jihad since people spend their entire lives struggling against the base desires within them

Jihad is also used to refer to the pilgrimage to Mecca. When Aishah, the wife of the Prophet, was asked about the jihad of women, she said, “Your jihad is to make the pilgrimage.”

The term jihad is also used to refer to speaking truth to those in power, so in Islam government oversight is a form of jihad. [Source: Egypt's Dar Al-Ifta | The Meaning of Jihad in Islam ]

Jihad is nothing to do with the modern phenomenon known as “Islamism” which is political Islam and in its extreme form engenders political violence which is one definition of terrorism. Moreover suicide is prohibited in Islam on pain of eternal hellfire (as with Catholicism, possibly other religions too).

So, please be assured Jihad to us is pretty much the same struggle as it is to you: a physical act to restore justice using moral methods, and a perpetual lifelong spiritual war against your inner Jinn, we must transform it from a demon, a Shaytaan Jinn aka an outcast Jinn - to a “Moomin” Jinn aka a Believer Jinn ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVRt35oI2EM ) - we are each assigned one demon (though schizos may acquire extra ones and as l’ve said elsewhere, “ghosts” are that personal Jinn that remains after death, impersonating the deceased). So anyway, the inner Jihad is the Greater Jihad and it is against our inner badness.

  • P.S. There are varying interpretations but it has been said that only 1 in 1,000 humans will reach heaven. The number will be like white hairs on a black bull. It is also however said that Gog and Magog (maybe when they finally errupt from underground, when Jesus the Messiah returns) will outnumber the rest of mankind by 1000:1, though that sort of implies a few of Gog and Magog will be good people? Gog and Magog are sons of Noah via Japheth (peace be upon both of them), and are thus humans, but they are monsters, they are probably the Trolls and Goblins of North European and Asian legends. Some are covered in red hair etc. I digress.

Dear friend, l hope this helped.

Sorry about the ranty opening of the thread by the way, it was my reaction to the post of yours that triggered it, on another thread

It’s only inflamatory in your mind.
Were you to accept the evidence as you claim then the truth would not seem inflammatory to you

Yes it is.
One man’s struggle is another man’s liberation moverment, is another man’s terrorism.
You are in denial.

This discussion began in response to your saying Muslims expected sex with whores in heaven, or berries.

I have shown you, with reference to our religious texts, that we do not expect to have sex with whores or sex with fruit in heaven - but what you do in your spare time is your business (until the day of Judgement).

You are denying that you have lied about my religion by saying we expect sex with whores / sex with fruit in heaven. OR you are denying that this is categorically a lie about my religion.

Now you say “one man’s struggle is
another man’s terrorism.” And then say l am in denial.

You are denying that Jihad in my religion - as shown in what l’ve pasted of my religion’s texts - is War per se, and no different to war fought by other nations / beliefs, except the Muslim definition is more noble, it is predicated on justice and the struggle of inner and outer evil - the evil within, and the evil in the land.

Please do not arbitrarily reject the following rebuttal and continue generating lies about Islam:

Here are some Islamic teachings, almost all from Qur’an and Sunnah (Sunnah = sayings of the Prophet, peace be upon him), but also one saying from Umar Ibn Al Khattab, a friend of the Prophet.

THIS IS BY NO MEANS ALL I HAVE TO SAY - Please don’t assume this is an exhaustive list, the main issue in defending Islam against wrongful allegations of terrorism / extremism is where to begin??? There’s so much material against terrorism / extremism that it’s hard to limit onesself. TERRORISM / EXTREMISM ARE A RECENT PHENOMENON GRAFTED ONTO ISLAM IN THE 20TH CENTURY:

TITLE: QUR’AN TEACHES THIS WORLD WAS CREATED TO SEE WHO HAS BEST CONDUCT, BAD CONDUCT IS OBVIOUSLY DISCOURAGED:

TITLE: PRINCPLE OF “THE JUST WAR” - THE QUR’AN COMMANDS MUSLIMS TO FINALLY FIGHT PAGANS AFTER YEARS OF PERSECUTION (Muslim men and women were being hacked to pieces, tortured, and expelled from their own homes for years prior to this) - HERE YOU SEE THE CONCEPT OF WAR “IN THE WAY OF ALLAH” i.e. WAR WITH JUST MEANS, NOT UNJUST EXCESSES (as you can see, Muslims are commanded to accept surrender, rather than slaughter thousands / hundreds of thousands as is the way of modern warfare):

002.190 Fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you, but begin not
hostilities. Lo! Allah loveth not aggressors.

002.191 And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places
whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. And fight not
with them at the Inviolable Place of Worship until they first attack you there, but if
they attack you (there) then slay them. Such is the reward of disbelievers.

002.192 But if they desist, then lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

002.193 And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah. But if
they desist, then let there be no hostility except against wrong-doers.

them whom ye know not. Allah knoweth them. Whatsoever ye spend in the way of
Allah it will be repaid to you in full, and ye will not be wronged.

008.061 And if they incline to peace, incline thou also to it, and trust in Allah. Lo!
He, even He, is the Hearer, the Knower.

008.062 And if they would deceive thee, then lo! Allah is Sufficient for thee. He it is

The next few parts quote the famous Yaqeen Institute’s website, whose quotes of the Qur’an and Sunnah are all fully referenced on the website:

TITLE: DO NOT RETURN LESSER HARM WITH GREATER HARM - PRINCIPLE OF DE-ESCALATION:

A central principle that runs all throughout Islamic teachings on warfare is that of non-aggression: one must never initiate aggression and should only respond to it proportionately. The basis of this principle is the saying of the Prophet, “Do not cause harm nor return harm.” 1

This statement became one of the essential “five maxims” that govern all actions in Islamic law. 2

Every action that causes harm to another person or animal is forbidden by default, unless it is taken to secure a greater benefit or repel a greater harm according to the subsidiary principle, “Greater harm is removed by lesser harm.” 3

It is forbidden in Islam to remove a lesser harm with a greater harm.

TITLE: INSCRIPTION ON THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD’S SWORD:

The message of non-aggression was even written on the Prophet’s sword as a reminder to all, “Verily, the worst of people in insolence are those who strike at whoever did not strike them, a man who kills those who did not fight him.”17

TITLE: KILLING OF NON-COMBATANTS FORBIDDEN:

On one occasion, after a woman was found to have been killed in the battle, the Prophet “condemned” the killing of women and children. 15

In another narration, the Prophet explained his condemnation by saying, “She was not fighting,” demonstrating non-combatant immunity, and he further commanded his companions not to kill workers. 16

TITLE: ISLAM PROHIBITS MUTILATION & WANTON DESTRUCTION OF NATURE (CROPS, VEGETATION):

Two more rules outlaw cruelty against combatants and destruction of property: 1) Mutilation and torture are prohibited; and 2) Destruction of crops, trees, livestock or civilian infrastructure is not permissible except in certain limited circumstances (explored later on).
These very principles were affirmed by Article 3 of the Cairo Declaration of Human Rights, issued and adopted at the Nineteenth Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers in Cairo in 1990, which was based on traditional Sharia (or principles of Islamic Law):

a) In the event of the use of force and in case of armed conflict, it is not permissible to kill non-belligerents such as old men, women and children. The wounded and the sick shall have the right to medical treatment; and prisoners of war shall have the right to be fed, sheltered, and clothed. It is prohibited to mutilate dead bodies. It is a duty to exchange prisoners of war and to arrange visits or reunions of the families separated by the circumstances of war.

b) It is prohibited to fell trees, to damage crops or livestock, and to destroy the enemy’s civilian buildings and installations by shelling, blasting or any other means.18

TITLE: QUR’AN REPEATS WARNING ABOUT TAKING LIFE UNJUSTLY, AND EXHORTATION ABOUT SAVING LIFE:

005.032 For that cause We decreed for the Children of Israel that whosoever killeth a
human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he
had killed all mankind, and whoso saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved
the life of all mankind. Our messengers came unto them of old with clear proofs (of
Allah’s Sovereignty), but afterwards lo! many of them became prodigals in the earth.

TITLE: WELL TREATMENT OF SLAVES (IN ISLAM, SLAVES CAN ONLY BE A SIDE-PRODUCT OF WAR, NOT A MERCANTILE VENTURE AS IT WAS IN OTHER CULTURES):

Freeing bondsmen is also greatly rewarded by God and is even required for the expiation of many sins. The Quran describes the path to salvation as “to free a bondsman.” 32

The Prophet encouraged freeing captives in general, whenever possible, saying, “Feed the hungry, visit the sick, and set the captives free.” 33

He also made it a rule that simply slapping a bondsman or servant in a humiliating way necessitated their freedom, “Whoever strikes his bondsman without limit or slaps him, then the expiation for the sin is to emancipate him.” 34

Those were some highlights from the Yaqeen Institute’s website. Now to continue:

TITLE: QUR’AN TEACHES MODERATION:

002.143 Thus We have appointed you a middle nation, that ye may be witnesses
against mankind, and that the messenger may be a witness against you. And We
appointed the qiblah which ye formerly observed only that We might know him who
followeth the messenger, from him who turneth on his heels. In truth it was a hard
(test) save for those whom Allah guided. But it was not Allah’s purpose that your faith
should be in vain, for Allah is Full of Pity, Merciful toward mankind.

Muhammad Asad translation:
And thus have We willed you to be a community of the middle way, so that [with your lives] you might bear witness to the truth before all mankind, and that the Apostle might bear witness to it before you. And it is only to the end that We might make a clear distinction between those who follow the Apostle and those who turn about on their heels that We have appointed [for this community] the direction of prayer which thou [O Prophet] hast formerly observed: for this was indeed a hard test for all but those whom God has guided aright. But God will surely not lose sight of your faith-for, behold, God is most compassionate towards man, a dispenser of grace

The Clear Quran, Dr. Mustafa Khattab translation:
And so We have made you ËčbelieversËș an upright community so that you may be witnesses over humanity and that the Messenger may be a witness over you. We assigned your former direction of prayer only to distinguish those who would remain faithful to the Messenger from those who would lose faith. It was certainly a difficult test except for those ËčrightlyËș guided by Allah. And Allah would never discount your Ëčprevious acts ofËș faith. Surely Allah is Ever Gracious and Most Merciful to humanity.

Safi Kaskas translation:
We have made you a moderate nation, so that you may bear witness to humanity and the Messenger may bear witness to you. We made your former prayer direction only so that we could know who would follow the Messenger and who would turn away from him. This change was too much to bear except for those whom God has guided. God will surely not lose sight of your faith. God is compassionate and Merciful-to-all people.

TITLE: THE PROPHETIC SUNNAH (AHADITH) TEACH MODERATION:

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND ABU AMINA ELIAS’s SITE, IT HAS SALAFIST LEANINGS BUT EVEN AS A SUFI-LEANING PERSON I’D SAY IT’S ONE OF THE BEST WEBSITES ABOUT ISLAMIC TEACHINGS I’VE EVER SEEN.

Abu Tha’laba reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah has made duties obligatory, do not neglect them. He has set limits, do not transgress them. He has made some things sacred, do no violate them. He has remained silent upon matters as mercy for you, not out of forgetfulness, so do not search them out.”

Source: Sunan al-DāraqutÌŁnī 4396

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Love whom you love mildly, perhaps he will become hateful to you someday. Hate whom you hate mildly, perhaps he will become your beloved someday.”

Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 1997

Umar Ibn Al-Khattab (A FRIEND OF THE PROPHET, AND ONE OF THE RIGHTLY GUIDED CALIPHS OF ISLAM) said, “Do not let not your love become attachment nor your hate become destruction.”

Narrated Masruq:
Abdullah bin 'Amr mentioned Allah’s Messenger saying that he was neither a Fahish nor a Mutafahish. Abdullah bin 'Amr added, Allah’s Messenger said, ‘The best among you are those who have the best manners and character.’

TITLE: QUR’AN SPECIFICALLY TEACHES DE-ESCALATION, DISCERNMMENT (NOT INDISCRIMINATE EXCESSES)

041.034 The good deed and the evil deed are not alike. Repel the evil deed with one
which is better, then lo! he, between whom and thee there was enmity (will become)
as though he was a bosom friend.

TITLE: KILLING UNJUSTLY = NOT EVEN GETTING WITHIN SNIFFING DISTANCE OF HEAVEN:

The Prophet said, “Whoever killed a person having a treaty with the Muslims, shall not smell the smell of Paradise though its smell is perceived from a distance of forty years.”

This would include killing a Jew, Christian or Sabian (l think Sabians are Mandaeans, followers of Prophet John, because Saba in Arabic means swim or float, i.e. baptists - l think) if it is purely for the fact they are of another religion, it’s only acceptable if they have broken the default treaty of protection and attack Muslims first.

TITLE: ISLAM PROHIBITS INFANTICIDE, LEAST OF ALL BECAUSE ALL INFANTS ARE CONSIDERED MUSLIM:

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Every child is born in a state of fitrah (the natural state of man, i.e., Islam), then his parents make him into a Jew or a Christian or a Magian.” (Agreed upon).

The Qur’an exlains that from the outset, we are made in the nature of Moomins, that is, “Believers” i.e. people inclined to Allah i.e. AS INFANTS, WE ARE PROTOTYPICALLY MUSLIM, NOT IN THE SENSE OF OVERT RELIGIOUS ADHERENCE, BUT IN THE SENSE THAT OUR HEARTS ARE THOSE OF MOOMINS:

030.030 So set thy purpose (O Muhammad) for religion as a man by nature upright -
the nature (framed) of Allah, in which He hath created man. There is no altering (the
laws of) Allah’s creation. That is the right religion, but most men know not -

I hope this was commestible to you and helpful. Thank you for reading. Peace!

P.S. I CHALLENGE YOU TO FIND A BETTER RULE OF WAR THAN IN ISLAM. I CHALLENGE YOU TO FIND BETTER PEOPLE IN PRACTISE OF WAR, THAN MUSLIMS. Show your working out, your reasoning, your evidence. Don’t let it be mere handwaving.

You do not get to speak for all Islam ,and I have shown that this idea is present in Islamic ideology.

THe Geneva convention.

I said no handwaving. Show me please

And l also said show me people that are better in conduct of war

Please show me where sex with whores is present in Islamic theology.

Please show me where sex with fruit is present in Islamic theology.

Have you even read my reply which rebutts that we have sex with whores in heaven and sex with fruit in heaven?

It’s like l’ve written nothing.
