I still am seeing my psychoanalyst…I will probably see him until he dies…I talk to him about my religious beliefs…
he keeps telling me that most of the god stuff…the heaven and hell stuff …is delusional…he is probably right…but not for me…I am special…
Ahh jeez kiddo get a better doctor. Any shrink that talks like that to a patient about beliefs is crap. Are you going to go on a slaughter rampage for your beliefs?
I am doing 1-1 and it costs $140…a psychoanalyst is very hard to find…mine is very old…
for your brother it is very important for him to find some therapist that he trusts that will connect with him on a human level…it is very important to have someone you can trust…someone you can tell what is going on…it is very difficult
for a person who is paranoid…but not impossible…
He can’t cope without Clozipine. But on it, he’s not paranoid, he’s just mulling along; no ambition, not much interest in life.
At least he’s not screaming at the wall.
Doctor Woo says - physiological schizophrenia is exacerbated by stimulants. Cure - cut back on popular stimulants such as cigarettes, coffee, sugar and tea, or ingest more depressants… but not psychoactives, of course. Eat plenty of red meat and get plenty of sleep and exercise.
The stimulants stimulate the fight/flight response. In light doses and insensitive persons, this produces mild anxiety, in heavy doses and sensitive persons, who’re already naturally nervous and scatterbrained, this produces paranoia. The mind begins misinterpreting and over-interpreting stimuli as a potential threat. Neurons fire rapidly and misfire at inappropriate junctures. Stimulants can cause elation, but in addicted persons who’s serotonin reserves are depleted/neurons are exhausted, constantly consuming stimulants produces more negative feelings than positive, it’s like beating a dead horse. All of this is worsened when they’re not diluting the chemical stimulants with proper nutrition, failing to feed the body any substance, particularly fats and fat soluble nutrients to restore exhausted neurons and neurochemistry. From my experience/research, schizophrenics tend to have poor diets/lifestyles, which can and do exacerbate, if not cause many, many diseases and disorders. Of course they’ll never, ever tell you this, because it’s more profitable to give you a pill than advice, and no one wants to bear any responsibility for the state of their mind/body.
Of course there’s psychological causes of schizophrenia too.
Power is responsibility, responsibility is burdensome. Nevermind atheism/theism, perhaps nothing Is so liberating as realizing there’s only so much we can do. Fatalism, be it theistic/atheistic, is liberating, in a round about way.
I would like to return to my psychoanalyst…he is saying that this god thing is delusional…and you may have to pay a price for delusions…like not paying attention to reality…he sometimes gets on this religious thing…but I allow it
because most of the time he is listening to me…
