Satyr’s personna can bring out the best in you or the worst. He has value because of this. I seriously doubt his online personna is just like his real life personna.
From my point of view, he tests and pushes to see the knee jerk responses from everyone. Ego is part of his tools for testing.

I would not say he is mean, just grouchy.
When you unexpectedly find yourself in a circus, full of manimals and freaks, you must dress and perform accordingly.
For entertainment he unleashes the reckless spirit (due to life circumstances essentially being suppressed) but finds an outlet on Forums such as this.
In reality he is/was a tender son, a responsible father, conservative spender and reliable employee.
This man has a certain “je ne sais quo” that I really like .
