I think there’s a difference between hyper masculinity, which compensates for some sort of lack, and traditional masculinity, which has nothing to compensate for.
I don’t profess to be an expert on either.
My expertise/experience is limited. I comment on what I have observed.
I’m certainly no expert, but I’m really good at snark, which compensates for everything.
