Communication has a medium, method, and message. You don’t have an image/example of a person communicating with another person(s) without the original/model of the people who are (personhood who is) eternal communication.
The medium of communication itself is the whole universe of space and time, the method is Jesus fulfilling prophecy on the cross and resurrected in the sequence of time, and the constant message is active love despite changing and various circumstances.
Heraclitus got a bad rap. Plato, too. It is unnerving, but anyway.
What many say about the dao/tao… you can’t do that with opposite absolutes (which are not a thing). You have to reframe. After you read the below, reread it thinking about the dao/tao and how the dots in each swirl are the “twos”…and the entire face is the “one”.
The non-binary thinkers have co-opted the non-dualism (good being primary, evil being privation, rather than opposite, of primary) thinking…
But there’re two different dualisms going on here, which are good and evil, and mind and body, and somehow body/physical got linked with evil (in the case of the early gnostics).
And keep in mind there are only two sexes, and all else is disorder… a kind reframed as a blessing by Jesus (some who are tired of the game can understand this)… and they aren’t opposites.
The cooperation of twos, rather than being dualistic opposites, are necessary for threes (families). But for the original family, think of it like dividing a line into three equal parts with two interruptions into (but now) one, then joining the end points to make an equilateral triangle, and repeating this infinitely with every segment of each new triangle. It is one, and it is never not three, but in order for that to be the case, it had to allow for (incorporate as part of its being/unity) the “two” interruption(s) as part of the iterations. The interruptions (the iterations) are always subsumed/one. And we (every one) are made in the image of the original iteration, which does not mean chronologically first. And this sort of iteration doesn’t even need to require sex. But it’s fun if you play it right. If you try to denature the rules, or the body—to cheat—away from its original function (ultimately self=other), rather than back to it—it is an indication of brokenness/loss of function (a kind of death).
