Those are two VERY GOOD THINGS, in my book.
This problem feels unsolvable to you because it means you can’t be a heterosexual without hurting someone’s feelings.
This problem is solved by caring about the chosen woman’s feelings by being willing to hurt every other woman’s feelings by selecting her over them. All women will respect you for caring about her feelings in that way, because they will feel you respect all women when you respect her feelings.
The exact same is true for men (correct me if I’m wrong). If a woman respects her man, they feel respected as men, even if they get rejected sexually. If she doesn’t reject all other men sexually, she is interpreted as disrespecting all men.
When we stop selecting/respecting is when the war to get even (rather than rebalance/restore) starts/perpetuates. Nobody ever is healed because wounds are torn open over and over.
