1.) The goal of life is to give everyone forever, everything they want at the expense of not one single being in existence.”1.) The goal of life is to give everyone forever, everything they want at the expense of not one single being in existence.”
Sounds like a hedonic treadmill where people collect 100 games that they want in their steam library, but never actually play.
Life in of itself is parasitic. Life is suffering. The most noble goal would be to end all consciousness in the universe, by virtue of the Sacred Halo Rings.
However, such a goal may be unnattainable. For instance, what if someone makes a halo ring, but it is only limited to a galaxy? And cannot span the universe? Or, what about something worse… what if the ring can destroy all consciousness in the universe, BUT… this causes souls travel backwards in time to the stone age… so it was all for naught
So, because the halo goal may be unattainable, we must have a backup plan. The backup plan is to have a Memory Wipe device, so that everything feels brand new. Like you are bored of a movie, bored of a game, bored of your spouse, you just click the Memory Wipe device. This is much better than just having everything you want, instead you pick quality things over mere quantity.
Ecmandu: “b) the negative zero sum problem: the assumption that everyone should win, or for every winner there is more than one loser.”
its a problem but only in stone age societies. In future UBI societies its a non issue since the Sun generates enough free energy for everybody
Ecmandu: “c) the pleasurable exclusive access problem: the assumption that all resources should be shared (everyone should win) equally. Also meaning, while you’re having a decent time, you’re invariably stomping, shattering and crushing another’s heart.”
again another stone-age-only-problem. In future UBI societies people just have robowaifus and such
