There’s nothing weird about right wing socialism, Stalin’s Russian communism is basically considered right-wing communism by today’s political standards.
As a conservative leftist myself I would actually argue that conservative values prosper better under socialist or communist economic systems. Economic capitalism I would argue is harmful to those who hold conservative values politically.
Of course modern day liberals are opposed to everything conservative where it all appears very weird to them.
