The collapse of the United States American World Order

The United States will inevitably collapse in the near future and the popular refrain afterward will be, “But true economic capitalism has never been tried before!”

:clown_face:

Well, that’s what they say about communism also. But, hey, it’s been a long time you’ve been predicting the imminent collapse. What if it just keeps slowly becoming more and more unfair, be never really collapses?

Communism only collapsed in eastern Europe and Russia, it has thrived in East Asia.

True, I have been predicting a lot of things since 2008. Even I get things wrong from time to time, nobody is perfect. I am certainly not perfect in everything I predict.

At a certain point a system becomes so very corrupt or unequal it is no longer able to function. We’ll see this eventuality soon enough. There are limitations to any given organized system.

:clown_face:

Not really as communism, but ok.

Of course. And that wasn’t really my point. It wasn’t a nah, nah, you said this before. I would have thought collapse would have come earlier than this also. I was sort of thinking emotionally: on some level the scarier thing is that the big changes never come. On the other hand, especially with someone with kids and grandkids, big changes might not work out for the family, so big changes are also scary.

But it wasn’t just an emotional probe, You talk about so corrupt it can’t function, but there are countries around the world where corruption is the rule all over the place: hospitals, government agencies, police and so on. And they can somehow stumble along for decades and decades.

It was communism, liberals get confused on the lack of democracy aspects. Of course if you read Marxism specifically its critiques of liberal democracy it makes more sense.

@greenfuse

I don’t want my kids and grandchildren to experience the type of bondage and persecution I have faced in life or worse.

The things I have endured throughout my life in the name of liberalism, capitalism, conservatism, individual meritocracy, and democracy is comparable to what we criticize other nations of. In the west there are outside gulags where instead of soldiers killing people directly we let the outside weather elements do it instead indirectly with a burdening homeless population everywhere. We simply call the executions deaths of despair.

It doesn’t matter what I or anyone else wants, what will happen will simply happen regardless of emotional sentiments. Reality doesn’t care about personal and emotional appeals.

We have already been stumbling along for countless decades, we’re currently running out of road to tread upon.

Another ‘collapse’ thread? I’m predicting a collapse of collapse threads not so far

I like that you wrote United States American, Joker. Whatever else, that wins you a couple of respect points in the Pezer book.

The real question is, will Canada wrestle control away from the United States in its alliance with China? Brush up on your Mandarin.

Especially the west coastal regions.

@pseudoai

You neoconservatives should create an American Golden Age Renaissance thread where Elon Musk is president in 2035 where all the poor people are rounded up and slaughtered by military robots or drones.

That seems to be the general ideological appeal for your political side of the aisle, right?

:clown_face:

who?

I thought you were a neoconservative. Why should a neoconservative (whatever that is) do that? Are you sure that is something those people should do?

What political side? My political stance is to get the best result for the most people on the long run - are you of the same stance? And if you are, why should someone do what you wrote they should?

Communist. <-----------

:clown_face:

Now, for something that has something to do with this topic. Let’s suppose some country ‘collapses’ (whatever that means). How would you then know if that already happened for sure?

Isn’t identifying as a communist a feature of neoconservatives? You see, communism is very very old, it’s so old that it is something that is already orthodoxy, and something people want to conserve. Well, you may be a conservative, just that. Good point.

Would be pretty self evident.

:clown_face:

@pseudoai

No, neoconservatives are capitalists.

:clown_face:

Of course! Then, if it would be so evident, how would you notice? And how would you notice it hasn’t ‘collapsed’ still?

Well, it seems you use lingo in your own ways, for sure. Just be aware you are wrong, in particular about weighing other’s internal states. Don’t confuse other people with the fictional characters you make in your mind about others. Those are not the same.

Astonishing, but I have actually had this point made to me.

People…

What does that make me, then? A communist? Because I’m an anti-communist?

Socialism destroys minds.

It just makes you a Fox News junkie who wishes they weren’t in Canada.

You’re a wannabe American without living inside of the U.S.

In many ways you’re a paradoxical creature.
