False. If you’re going to interpret things literally… Genesis 1:28 (a positive command) precedes Genesis 3 (the possibly poetic “first” act of defiance… which does not cancel the command…which would be a contradiction).

Sometimes talking to you feels like almost understanding what someone is saying to me In another language, but being unable to formulate a reply in that language. 
I think I understand your perplexity, it’s been a similar experience for me as well, it’s as if I carry on an internal dialogue with myself, and since it’s really near midnight here, I’ll try looking into it tomorrow.
