It is always shocking for people to hear that a human being is a scientifically predictable phenomenon like any other. People cherish the idea that they are perfect black boxes with some mysterious substance called free will.
Me, I’m a philosophy nerd. The people who are as aware of it as me that you should be worried about work in labs with large budgets.
They have no respect for the sanctity of the human phenomenon. They have no awe at God’s creation.
Oh, look at that, nobody wants to talk about Confucius inside of the thread even though that is the very specific subject material.

I noted the Falsehoods in “confusius’s” words. Some people are just blind because they do not believe that Falsehoods could and do exist there.

Well i did try to, but you have not given me an answer either.
How about directing the topic back through that? Why does Confucius’s views suit you better than i.e. buddhism or taoism?
When I don’t get back to people’s posts right away it’s because I am working or doing everyday family stuff. I am not trying to be insulting to anybody by my slow responses or replies. I have to constantly juggle everyday life activities unfortunately.
I don’t have a lot of free time to do the things I want to. It’s a constant struggle.
I am still very much a Buddhist as that is one of the most important aspects of my life. I view Confucianism or even Daoism as complimentary additions to Buddhist spirituality more than anything.
Key philosophical take aways from Confucius:
1.) Devotion to family.
2.) Devotion to public civics of the state.
3.) Devotion to cultivating a life of education seeking an individual life of excellence.
4.) Devotion to morality and ethics in all aspects of living creating a virtuous or harmonious society of social cooperation.
Be moral and ethical even if there is no reward for being such.
How many times do you have to be told the Truth before you can see and recognise it?
