Those photos they like to shove in people’s faces are of late miscarriages and still- births. There is no level too low for those hypocrites to sink to. The vast majority of abortions are done in the first few weeks of pregnancy via the abortion pill. Later ones (around 20 weeks gestation) are nearly always because the foetus has a serious defect that didn’t show up before the 20 week scan. It’s hardly something that a woman is going to do ‘for fun’.

I mean it’s clear you are not the empathic kind of person, but I truly wonder at people who are indifferent to the pain involved in late abortions, and sarcastically scornful of people who dare to care about that pain.
I wonder if they are simply sociopathic (which I doubt) or if they close themselves off from the reality (which seems more likely).
What interests me also is: do they think that because the baby is inside the mother, it actually feels no pain? Probably not, I suspect it’s something more ideological, that they might deep down feel the baby has no right to feel pain.

I think this is pretty important. These people aren’t primarily driven by sociopathy or sadism, and they also are not entirely unaware of the reality of the unborns pain, they are simply so brainwashed that they feel it’s not within the baby’s right to feel pain. It’s typical of the radical left; they aren’t aware that their violence is actually violence, on account of their moral superiority. I wonder if humans will ever shed the ability to be indoctrinated like that.

About which facts are you unclear? You are not convincing me that you actually think that the baby’s nervous system suddenly comes into being, out of the blue, once it exits the womb.
I know there are actually some people in the world who literally think this, that the baby exists as an organism only once it has been born.

Why would you think, if I am so against the suffering involved in abortions, that I am in favor of backstreet abortions?
I am not, as no one seems to be, absolutely positive on when the organism starts to feel and be aware of actual pain. But it is not very late in the pregnancy, that is clear.
I am not 100% categorically against an immediate abortion. For example in case of rape, I would be for it.
But when the organism has a functioning brain and nervous system, I don’t see how it’s not murder. I don’t even like saying this as it happens all the time every day and people are unaware of what they’re doing.
In most cases it’s pretty clear if there has been a risk of impregnation.
And when a surprise does happen despite contraception, unwanted babies can be adopted. There are in the US ten to twenty times as many couples waiting to adopt (1 to 2 million) as there are children waiting for adoption (70 to 100 thousand).

You are so naive and ignorant it’s unbearable. How many women know they are pregnant at one week? Many devastating birth defects don’t even show up until a 20 week scan. The only reason religious fuckturds are against safe, legal abortion is because it gives women a power that enrages those male arseholes-- and you are just simping for them. A foetus belongs to the mother carrying it in the most fundamental way. She can end it any time she wants to and will if she has to. The only question is whether it will end her as well, which is what you and your ilk are more than happy with.

Whats even more telling is that again you avoid the fact of the organisms suffering, obscuring it with the ideological position on the woman’s ownership of the foetus. Obviously people many people disagree about that. Many will say that once the organism is sentient, it belongs to itself. I find that more rational and compassionate. In any case this can be disputed; the fact of pain cannot. To brutally terminate a fully conscious life because you ‘own’ it…well…
