Yes there is a meaning of life. You are trapped into life. Life is a meaning-making machine, your brain creates meaning, life is the meaning of life. You also have a Purpose which is to escape life. As you said, modern life is nothing more than a modern workaholic slave, pushing up boulders everyday like Sisyphus.
For example I have a genius invention which is clear pans, underneath the clear pan is a camera, so you can see how burnt the food is, the clear pan also has an integrated thermometer which shows the exact temperature of the pan. Inventions like this in of itself makes life less Sisyphus than before.
Cars actually make life more Sisyphusy and more of a burden. They are complicated machines hard to maintain. They make cities poorer and more ugly. Most people only travel 5 miles (10 miles road trip) and it would be easier with a bicycle. The problem with bicycles is they are not all-weather. You need tricycles, specifically tadpole tricycles (2 wheels in the front) for all weather handling and stability.
What you are referring to is existence Futureone and has got absolutely nothing at all to do with life.
Please explain how life is imparted to the physical which is merely a binary processing machine in all its forms.

I struggle to think of any off hand. Skateboarding? I guess a broken leg from skateboarding might be more serious in the middle ages? Is it drugs? Are you talking about drugs? Fentanyl? Those kinds of drugs aren’t part of the mainstream or endorsed by society, so it doesn’t really count.
Most of man’s “vices” are television, videogames, pornography, none of which have any real physical danger at all. In the olden more “traditional” days, men were sent off to bloody wars at a young age to die on a battlefield, those wars could be viewed as a “vice” or entertainment of the time, men didn’t have any videogames or anything.
I don’t know what a soul is. I believe there must be a soul because if you connect 2 cyborg brains, the soul can choose which brain to travel into. The soul can either stay in the first brain or move to the second brain. Therefore there is probably such a thing as a soul.
However, I am not sure if souls have disembodied consciousness or not. It might be such that souls require a brain in order to have consciousness at all, only when a soul and brain is combined is there a such thing.
And when I said people ought to “escape life” what I meant is the whole universe should be shut-down, if its possible to deactivate all forms of consciousness in the universe. I believe in 500 years ai and cyborgs and humans will become smart enough to determine what consciousness is, and in 1000 years we will be wise enough to know if consciousness can be destroyed or not.
Obviously, if “shutting down” the universe causes consciousness to still exist, but only in the past prior to deactivation, then the universe should not be shut-down.
Just because you don’t know what the soul is you can’t just ignore it.
Why?
Well because as you infer the soul EXPERIENCES two different consciousness states generally known as the in and out of the moment consciousness states.
The soul is either one or the other or NEITHER of these consciousness states.
i dont know what a moment is, nobody has a clear definition of what it is.
i do know that consciousness can either focus on thoughts, or focus on the real-time experience of life. Is that what you are saying? That’s all I know.
You need to treat consciousness as completely separate from thoughts and just focus on which consciousness state you are experiencing in ANY given moment.
You KNOW that you can change the consciousness state from the in to the out and the out to the in any time you like so start exercising that CONTROL.
Only a schizo can conceive such a thing.
The consciousness experience has got absolutely nothing to do with thoughts Max.
You can control the in and out of the moment consciousness experiences,at will, any time you like completely independent of thoughts.
Just because you don’t exercise control because you only operate automatically doesn’t mean that every one only operates in automated mode.

I don’t believe I ever said humans will completely wipe off life. I believe there’s a possibility the race will destroy itself, but life was here before humans were a thing and it will be here when the last of us disappears. Life is bigger than us.

The consciousness experience is vibratory and uncontrolled unless the individual steps in and controls it and in so doing CONTROLS thoughts.
The soul exists and controls consciousness and thoughts.
You need to try to control consciousness in every moment inorder to experience how difficult it is to do and inorder to experience the VIBRATORY nature of consciousness.If you have never tried then you will never know EXPERIENTIALLY.
You will then understand the next stage more fully.

Well, certainly life is not my word for God, if that’s what you’re asking. Unless, of course, God is a random process that has been slowly evolving for the last couple billions of years. We’re the most refined products of life, so to speak. But there were countless other products before us, and without us here, the process would still go on.
