Tobacco use will change.

Nicotine has a different effect on receptors than it’s cousin niacin, niacin actually does act as a stimulant, so does vitamin b12.

What I tried to explain to you is that niacin can cause hyper-alkalinity, and nicotine does not. It’s the same way that Vitamin C is considered an acid but has the paradoxical effect of alkalinizing the system.

Drinking, in small quantities, has not been shown to be harmful and may be beneficial.
Let’s say the same is true of smoking.
However, nicotine is much more addictive than alcohol. A smoker is less likely to smoke in moderation and more likely to become addicted.

That’s not true… most smokers smoke 3-5 cigarettes per week, the chain smokers and 2-5 pack a day smokers are actually rarer… most of these smokers are women incidentally.

I am wanting you ec to site a specific reference like scientists do…
if what you say is true why not take niacin instead of nicotine…
the reason is that niacin is not a stimulant…

please direct me to the scientific study…otherwise you are just playing games with me

As usual, you write something and provide no supporting evidence.

Hmm… I can’t argue with statistics like that… I’ve known ALOT of smokers in my life, and women tend to be 3-5 cigarettes a week smokers, men tend to be much more, and there are way more male smokers than female smokers, just based on the statistics of who tries to bum cigarettes off people (almost all males) In fact in my entire life, I’ve only had 2 women try to bum a cigarette off me, I’ve had about 2000 males try to do the same.

I see Uccisore is still keeping his hatred of me in tact, even though this was about the governments push to raise the age to 25, and deserved to be in politics.

In the United States in 2011, total cigarette consumption was 292.8 billion. You can do the math … the number of cigarettes consumed by each smoker is huge.

That’s just a mean Phyllo… have you ever been a smoker? Have you been in the real world smoking cigarettes walking down the street or at parties… who do you think asks for cigarettes more? Males? or Females? Which gender do you think smokes more? Which gender do you think has more stressors? These are all things you don’t take into account.

ec are you having fun…you just lost the debate…

The stats(2012) for male/female smokers was in one of the links. US males 20.5% smoke, US females 15.8% smoke.

Individuals have a variety of stressors.

That stat doesn’t even make sense… what do transexuals smoke the most? I’m asking you point blank, have you ever been a smoker?

Nevermind, I see what you’re saying… that was somewhat inarticulate. I know males smoke more and heavier than women do from life experience, definately heavier.

They don’t have this statistic, but women generally smoke at most a half a pack per day, males smoke 2-5 packs per day… the sheer number of cigarettes consumed by males is MUCH higher than the sheer number of cigarettes consumed by females.

I guess Oxford might not be good enough for you Phyllo…

And at Statiktech, those Vapes have massive carcinogens, they actually melt the plastic on a microscopic scale, and that gets into your lungs.

Does that article say that nicotine is an effective treatment for schizophrenia?

That wasn’t what the article was about Phyllo… it was about dispelling the myth the schizophrenia, wasn’t blind to gender, race or ethnicity or time period. It’s well known that nicotine compounds help schizophrenic symptoms immensely.

Do me a favor Phyllo… go out and buy a bottle of niacin and take 3 GRAMS… that won’t kill you. Your skin will flush red and you’ll feel energized. And then get back to me and tell me how nicotinic compounds effect the human body.
