Has anyone else noticed what teensy weensy attention spans people now have? One world-stability-shaking event after another and people barely blink these days. They’ve all but forgotten about it in a week or so, then they are eagerly awaiting their next ‘fix’. People are still affected by the Kennedy assassinations, even if they weren’t around then or lived in the US. The shooting of Reagan was talked about for ages and registered on stock markets worldwide. When Trump was shot it was an event with odds against it happening so astronomical that I wouldn’t even hazard a guess at what they would be. I can’t think of anything that comes close. Now it’s all but forgotten. The internet is a drug of which tolerance is increasing exponentially.
