Yeah, I get it all the time. Some just call me EJ. It’s cool. I’m used to it. :sunglasses:

I guess Ierrellus wants to keep the positive effects of his prayer, secret. It’s probably a big lottery win and he doesn’t want people hitting him up for money. I mean what else does one pray for?

I really like your travel vids, smears. This one is awesome.
I was listening to some tracks to post in my music thread and this track (Clouds) came up while watching your vid. It matched perfectly so I put it on repeat till the video finished.

Getting over a “slough of despond”.
The housing authority plans to move all tenants out of their apartments in order to renovate. I was under the impression that I’d be be moved somewhere across town, away from the conveniences I have at my present address. The authority decided to keep all tenants in this building, just moving them to vacant apartments as renovation is completed. They even said they would help us pack and move. Good news for me! At 79 I did not see anything positive about moving from my home of 15 years. Prayers get answered!

Waiting for my three, male, dinner companions to fetch me(Dad, Uncle and Cousin  ). A Chinese buffet. Food coma future.

Eye-yei-yei, just got asked “in” by a male neighbor on the pretense that my 8 lbs. dog would enjoy playing with his rough-housing, 45 lbs. dogs…all 5 of them.

While I appreciate his intention to ward off his loneliness, I sense that he is a pit of despair and I’m all out of the energy of patience requiring even more energy in the form of sympathy.

Usually, I have no problem taking on fix-me-up projects, but lately, nah.

How cantankerous am I, really? :-k

…about to make cassava-based banana muffins… as opposed to wheat-flour based.

Finely-grated fresh cassava, a couple of mashed bananas, some raw cane sugar, a few eggs… what can go wrong. :-s

Wondering why some stubborn geniuses work out their issues in their other confounded threads rather than the direct approach? Slow on the uptake and the irony, shared in fact, is ever so satisfying.

Criticism of dance will not earn you any.

…watching Ruby Wax and Sharon Stone walking to a local coffee shop, wearing silk pyjamas, slippers, bucket hats, and false beards… making people shook along the way.

It’s been a surreal week or two, I’ll give it that.

Excited about going to see Suicide Squad tomorrow with my Cousin, which brings my Joker to mind along with my best wishes for him.

It all went very right… not fluffy like cake, turned out more like the density of that of a roly-poly, so still edible none-the-less.

My Dad left a bottle of Mexican Mudslide in my frig.

Instead of throwing it away, I poured a shot of it into my coffee. Holy cows! Strong.

Alcohol hasn’t touched my lips in years due to being on blood thinners, but I am in the mood for a hot toddy.

Ugh, bluck, tequila, ties for my least favorite hard liquor. Sugar came with that shot too :astonished: , oopsie. #-o

Naughty Wendy! [-X Tsk, tsk.

thanks. im going next week to some little town in texas called humble, then end of september back to moab. may hit some stuff around the 4 corners when the weather cools off. ill try and get some more video if i see anything interesting.

I was tempted to correct the exposure and put back the the colour the exposure washed out but ‘Ain’t Nobody Got Time for dat

if you know how to do that it would be cool to see. i just put this old $60 fake gopro that i got off ebay almost a decade ago on my window and turn it on. or i hang my phone out the window. the phone shoots way better video, but my arm gets tired.

Lol

Even with good camera equipment you have to know what you’re doing to get the best out of the rocks and sky. It’s usually trial and error. If you open up the aperture a stop or so more than what it does automatically, you’ll get the detail and colour in the rocks but you’ll lose some of the detail in the sky and vice versa which is why the rocks are darker in the vid than what you would have seen. Our eyes adapt when we look at the sky and rocks but the camera just has one setting so you need software to bring it back to what our eyes see. I have the software and I’d love to do it because the landscape looks amazing but I don’t have the time. I have to stick to priorities

 Yeah, good old Ms Sweet Brown from the good ol’ internet days.
