What are you doing? (Part 1)

HAhahahaha.

Come on now, what doctor wouldn’t prescribe?

Do you give off addicty vibes?

I mean your next best bet is to buy h off the streets.

“Everything is about complaining with you.”

U missed the lesson there, Socrates. Let’s walk through the exchange.

I was being put into check by your comparison of my (ordinary folks who got it made) suffering with the suffering of a soldier in the middle east shitshow, and how relative to that, I probably had no right to complain. This is why the soldier would ‘smack me’ if he heard me complain about a little back pain, and that I should be out of smacking range therefore.

The point to be made here is that you have no right to issue a complaint about something happening to you as a result of your own bad decision. In the soldiers case, his suffering, while incredibly worse (say he just got his leg blown off), cannot draw the same kind of sympathy as would be drawn from seeing someone suffer who has tried everything to avoid it. In the soldiers case, he walked right into it. In the broke ass insuranceless worker’s case, his suffering is the result of a series of someone else’s stupidity or the collective stupidity of the whole peoples en masse.

For example, there r Joes and Keters out there who are just like me right now, but who need their credit, and who are forced to choose between paying rent and some outrageous medical bill.

Anyway ur thesis gets stuck at a kind of pseudo inferential contraction. A soldier would not be able to recognize his own offense at my having the nerve to complain, unless he himself thought his situation deserved more sympathy. It does not. The meathead signed up for it.

U tink about dat.

Nah nah, it wasn’t about that. And if you ever listen to testimonies of soldiers like that, it is never about that. It’s just that they have seen, really, what the world is like outside of the privileged boundaries. By comparing themselves with the very darkest, against which they are set and patrol every night, they gain deep realizations of the true significance of what they have at home, what they represent.

It gives them a humility, but from the point of view of the victor.

Nobody can bullshit them about just how lucky they are, and how valuable what they have is.

It only makes them more willing to put their lives on the line, and more ready to make a political stand against people that would bring this special thing down. They generally don’t have an attitude about those people, either, because of this same humility, but they realize they have a place, politically, and do the best to spread their message to people that will listen, to protect the rights and systems that have allowed their privileged home to exist.

They also have a close acquaintance with the political systems that produce the hellholes they encounter.

And I think, also, though they never explicitly say it, that they realize, looking into those people’s eyes, that there is nothing essentially different about them. They realize the only thing setting them apart is the crazy system that the US somehow became, and that they could just as easily wind up in that position if they didn’t continue the fight that was started, all the way back in the 1700’s, by some crazy freemasons.

And, one can’t help but think, they understand also that the US has been fighting for some years now to spread and represent this special thing called freedom, all over the world. That the US is the only thing in the world fighting for it, and it is giving the good fight too. That they wish this good fortune on those poor souls they encounter, too.

Dude ur slope is so slippery I’m like damn that’s a slippery slope. U use the soldier as a symbol to represent the noble battle against oppressive forces that threaten our great nation… as if the thing he’s fighting (like the dumbass that he is), radical islamic rule, in any way resembles… or even could resemble… the socialistic-like state the liberal left desires here in amnerika.

U r creating monsters here young man, just like McCarthy.

Anybody who is unhappy with their healthcare system or the debt they are in or the impossibility of paying tuition, is an evil communist with an undeserved sense of entitlement because they’ve never fought the Taliban or the Venezuelan policia and who should not want to pay less (who the fuck wants to pay less for something, that’s absurd), and certainly not change the government around trying to do so. Why, that would be the very definition of the coldest, soulless evil ever to assail the hearts of mang.

Hey, you aksed.

And these are not symbols. Talk to some, really. That is really what you tend to find.

Also, you do not fight the Venezuelan policia. You pay them.

Maybe I’ll show you some day, if those communist cocksuckers ever let go.

Gotta love those bastards.

The motherfucker sure ain’t in no hurry now, is he? How long does it take?

Oh my bad. This is Ryan, and Ryan is an orthopedic doctor. Ryan will see physical proof of severe osteoarthritis and misalignment due to length discrepancy in legs, read reports written by prior doctors, and then refuse to prescribe effective pain medication for his patient.

Perhaps Ryan doesn’t trust his patient, who is a little upset and acting belligerently because he’s already spent nearly $2000 dealing with clowns just like him at the other hospital, and thinks he’ll abuse the prescription.

But this is where Ryan is a little slow. Let’s run a little decision matrix and look at the possible outcomes.

What’s the worst that could happen if Ryan was right, and I was a pill abuser who was faking his pain. Let’s say Ryan prescribes me ten pills, one time only. Is it even possible to abuse ten pills?

And what if he was wrong. He had the opportunity to prescribe enough medication to help his patient through until the MRI, but blew it because he didn’t trust or like his patient.

We should set up a camera and let Ryan watch a 24 hr live feed of his patient in agonizing pain at home, waiting for him to finally get around to scheduling the MRI.

And does Ryan know that the doctor prior to him, who did nothing for the patient either, but just another ‘referal’, told the patient that Ryan was the doctor with the MRI? And now, being that Ryan does not have the MRI, the patient, yet again, pays another innocuous fee for Ryan to ‘order’ the MRI.

I wonder if when I get there, I’ll have to pay one guy to plug it in, another to turn it on, another to operate it, and another to read the results.

Perhaps Ryan doesn’t know that if he himself had this pain, he’d be on the floor crying like a baby.

it’s super hard to get pain meds here. easier in almost every case to get them on the streets.

Y’all shouldna maybe sued so many doctors.

You know, I thought a little bit more about this post, and it occurred to me:

Don’t you have little girls to go molest, fuckface?

Oh yes absolutely, but first I have a question.

How did your brain go from what I quoted to that question u just axed there?

How does one come upon deciding to ax a question like that immediately after reading a wiki article excerpt on Venezuelan government?

Does America not have walk-in pharmacies, where you can buy over-the-counter pain meds?

Most pharmacists can’t wait to recommend and prescribe, to their customers… what’s up with your people Prom?

Also… don’t y’all have GP-surgeries or pain-clinics, so that you don’t have to spend an arm and an… ahem, leg, on A&E costs? Mags recommends, that in the interim, Prom goes to the nearest pharmacy and purchases the strongest painkillers known-to-man that they have in stock… and in your case, you should be being administered pain-shots injected right into the troubled-area, for maximum pain relief.
