So now I’ve assigned a high-shot to my ride cymbal, which it wasn’t set with at default. Now you can get that ‘ting’ sound to accent ride cymbal notes. And i got the snare giving i higher pitched snap at the edge… trying to get that authentic snare sound. I’m impressed with the immersive nature of the interface with the drums.

I saw them in Atlanta on that summer sanitarium tour. The singer from metallica hurt his back and couldn’t do the show. So they gave us an hours-long mashup performance where different band members from all the bands got up and played together. SOAD singer did master or puppets, the midget that was with kid rock did for whom the bell tolls, some of the guys from korn did low rider. After the show I passed out on the MARTA and got kicked off in east point. Then got kicked out of a cab. Then paid a random waffle house manager to drive a few of us around looking for my friend’s car, (which we didn’t find), and finally got dropped off at the hotel. One guy there had apparently beaten us back (he left the show early…too wasted), and had made a ruckus and rented a bunch of pay per view porn. So when I stumbled in the front desk guy got to trippin on me about it and I ended up yelling and almost getting into a fight with him. Someone shit between the matress and box spring on one of the rooms, there was a g-bong in a sink full of bloody water in the sink of one where another guy had broken a window and cut himself. The whole thing was a nightmare. My friend who worked at la quinta had gotten us all employee discounts on these 3 or 4 rooms. He was fired. Good times.

That one I’m matching is probably drywalled… but I’m gonna put MDF on it because while it’s $50 per sheet, I’d spend a whole day finishing the drywall… so I’m actually saving time. MDF is paint ready.

Progress report. We are enter the third and final stage of project. Each cubby will have a strip light in it, so I’m waiting on the electrician to run his lines before i cover up the front and paint everything.
