I’ve watched up to 1:45
I feel don’t really get the UK or the USA or the farming industry in any country.
A farm looks idyllic, and that’s the entirety of this man’s pitch. He’s presenting to you “Heimat”, l bet there’s a scene of a mom breastfeeding her baby further down the timeline?
Yes farms are hard work etc. However this man is not representative of society. His accent is Received Pronunciation, more typical of Tories, the peerage etc. but can be heard anywhere really. I use it when speaking to customer service agents. HIs accent shows he is out of touch.
He cites “Great Yarmouth First” as an allied political party. I’ve never heard of them but Great Yarmouth, like Blackpool, is a holiday resort for the poor, and a dumping ground for the poor (seaside towns are rotting away, housing is cheap to avoid seasonal vacancy). The visitors are boozy, warlike, boisterous. This is the lower end of UK white culture that his cadre are manipulating.
Back to Farming. It used to be notoriously subsidised by the European Union, people used to call farmers lazy before Covid, after which they achieved cult status. Since Brexit l’ve no idea how farms make up for the lack of EU subsidies but l note food prices have increased wildly (though not a lot of my shopping comes from UK).
There are many parties like his and there will be more. The idea is: create mass appeal via reactionary nichey parties (make sure to, you know, use that vast old Tory wealth pay some mafia to get some migrants over, get a CCTV screengrab of one chatting to a 12 yr old girl, say they drove somewhere to fornicate, then unleash media stories about how she was [statutorily] raped, and abducated (she cannot legally have given permission)). They look politically weak, dispersed, dissipated, compared to Labour who are weak but one bloc. Then, when the elections loom, collapse all those parties into one really nasty one. Cue another 12 years of Right Wing rule.
Another thing: I’m unsure if the concept of rotten boroughs has been solved in the UK. It seems that the % of seats won by Tories does not equate to the % of voters. The point being, that farmer probably lives in a rotten borough, where there’s about 200 people yet it’s a sizeable part of the UK.
The true Far Right party that will take over will be sometihng like Turning Point UK, which will be a reaction against Islam and we all know who will be financing it, just as they finance Turning Point in USA.
I don’t think you really answered the OP @RealUn - what is the Utopia you aim for?
I think your speakers are all Right Wing materialists, and as such, they don’t do philosophy per my thread here.
Instead, they are sinisiter individuals that call (openly or via dog whistle) to Man’s base desires, which are in INCREASING order of precedence:
- Money, Food
- Sexual supply
- Fear, Fight <— this is their major card, the most basic instinct. Stranger Danger. The need to kill, kill, then reap the benefits above
That’s why you want a violent upheaval, then religious separatism. It has to be Xtian separatism as per Turning Point as the paymasters’ true goal is to eradicate Islam.
