It seems to me that they are all part of the same… maybe like a tree with its branches.
Why do we alway have to dissect ourselves?
Knowing as an experience is what it means to be a self. We don’t know ourselves as an object separate from ourselves, but the part of us that we can update or reinterpret is what is meant by ego. There are innumerable ways to interpret, but the ability to do so is grounded in being. If we allow our thinking/interpreting to contradict being/ground, it results in madness.
Because we suffer.
…because we hunger/thirst for the goodness/order, truth/being, and beauty/wholeness we are made to know, and so allowed to find, fight, or flee.
