Dan's Plans

The temperature has been better recently.
So I went to Northgate yesterday.
I got apple juice, 2 caesar salad bags, and 100pills of astragalus.
I have an appointment today. My injection.

Am watching first 48 on youtube.

I will have many plans in the near future.

Just considering it now.

So, i bought a pre-made raw pizza at Safeway,
for $13. And i brought it home, baked it, and
phoned Knighten to see if he wanted some.
He came to visit, ate 2 slices, then headed
home quick. But he really liked the pizza.
Even though his visit was brief.

Here’s to a plan’s fruition.

I am going to make big beefy soft taco supreme.
I plan to leave and get the ingredients starting at 7:20am my time.
Beef, salsa, cheese, sour cream, maybe lettuce, and tortillas.
Once it is ready, ill phone Brennan so he can visit and have some noms.
Dan food is free <3

I was thinking lately about a new way to do pizza.

Basically, you cut up the meats and toppings into very small pieces.

Then you mix it with flat bread dough, and pan fry it.

Or i think i could even bake it on a sheet.

I will give this more thought and share it if it turns out.

So, i made the soft tacos.
I ate one big one and i was full.
I liked it a lot, so i considered it
for sharing purposes. I phoned
Brennan and he came over to visit.
He ate like 3 or 4 of the big tacos.
He also was begging me for money : $50.
I tried to explain to him i want to support
him with free food from time to time,
but i am not giving out money to anyone.

Brennan seems like a decent guy,
but he has a way of asking for too much.

At least he really liked the tacos.

Beef is far easier to make than chicken.
Chicken dries out so easily.
I used to believe in chicken meat;
Not any more.
Now i just believe in beef and pork.

Use vegetable oil or some sauce, wine or broth in the pan if you’re cooking the chicken without it being breaded. You gotta cut it up in smaller pieces if it’s a whole breast, or use Crisco if it is breaded (toss it with spices & flour into a gallon ziploc bag to bread it).

For fish, use cornmeal instead of flour.

Explore dipping sauces.

Do not use vegetable oil Dan, it is toxic af.

Use either olive oil, ghee, butter, or a mixture of them all, but definitely not vegetable or seed oils.

The tacos sound great!

I heard that seed oils are good for you when they are raw in the seed,
but if they are cooked, they become cancerous.

They were definitely good tacos.
I know this simple recipe and can make it any time.

Due to cold weather i may not get this today,
but here it is in the form of a plan:

I want to make mega mash.
I’ll put mashed potatoes, cabbage, onion, corn, peas,
milk, chicken soup powder, green beans, deli ham & cottage cheese.

That is the kind of thing I get at Safeway.
It’s epic groceries.

epic groceries

I changed my mind and made baked potatoes instead of mashed potatoes.
It still turned out well.

My big rice noodle pasta that I gave to the LDS missionaries:
They said they liked it. I hope it was good for them.
I gave sauce in jars if they felt it didn’t have enough
flavor on its own.

I also have dry spaghetti as a back up,
if i run out of other foods. But I also have a box of
24 bags of Ichiban ramen chicken soup noodles.
I’ll be good for food for a long time.

You could also get a hot rotisserie chicken via Walmart Delivery. You can make a lot of stuff out of that.

Good idea. Next time maybe, in the future.

My good friend Seun replied to my text msg.
In a bit we will be having a visit.
I was thinking maybe for food i could
just buy one of those jumbo sandwiches
from Safeway. Then we cut it up and have
a supper right there. I was hoping to play
a round of scrabble with him.

Seun has been well.
His job pays and is consistent.
His kids are getting decent marks in school.

My plan is to visit with him more often.

I have some meal plans i been thinking about lately:

1 ) apple fritters
2 ) 12 egg omelette
3 ) black rice casserole

This is all in the future.

I successfully brought the missionaries 4L of pop,
at church today. That was one of my plans.
I got them a 2L root beer and a 2L ginger ale.

So, i visited Edward again.
He seems to not be mad at me any more.
We met at Tim Horton’s and talked for 100 minutes.
He did most of the talking, but i listened too.

I’m still having Ichiban ramen chicken noodle soup,
with broccoli and corn. It seems to be quite nice,
and i have a lot of it ready to cook and eat.

I plan on giving ramen and apple juice to the
missionaries this up and coming Sunday.

I also plan to maybe bring Edward some food again,
like old times. I was thinking maybe a beef wrap.
Or maybe some meat & veg rice.

Am not 100% sure, but those are some of my plans for now.

I’ve been focused a lot on a game project the last 2 weeks+.
It’s basically done version 1. But I have special plans for it.
I want to make the finest castle vs castle i can muster.
There’s around 100 things to buy and use in game.
When I’m ready, ill be posting a copy of it on the forums.
That is one of my plans.

I’m making some baked potatoes. 90 minutes from now i plan to bus to northgate. And from there, buy butter chicken curry sauce in jars, and bags of shredded cheese. Those two things can liven up my spag, rice and taters. I am also playing Top War lately. James played it, then told me about it, so i joined in. The weather will be nice for a few days here, so i plan to go out often for noms. See you all later on.

.

I plan to cook a leg-of-lamb soon, but the oven stopped working a few days ago -it’s insured- so I’m gonna attempt to ā€˜roast it’, in the electric slow/multi-cooker. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:
.

See you later, Dan…

Thanks for the update, Mags.
Once the onions are done frying, i will have my special potato dish.
I think it will turn out great.
I’m back from the grocery store.
I couldn’t find the butter chicken sauce, so i got marinara instead.

Hi everyone. I recently am cooking veggie rice. I plan to have it with cheese and sauce. I want to go shopping and it will be warm out today. But it is going to rain at the time when i usually go out. I’ll wait till later on that. The baked potatoes were a success.
