You can believe these things without needing political change, you can keep faith and state separate.
As for my views vs. yours:
- Traditional gender roles: I believe that too
- Marriage instead of profaning the mystery: I believe that too. Obviously it’s nigh impossible to marry as soon as sexually mature in the UK and probably USA too I think the USA permits couples to marry young if the parents permit it in some states though? Warped sexual drive is the root of most psychopathology. Once that part of a person is warped, i think it’s hard to fix (neurosis). I can see why faith groups would want autonomy for this reason more than anything. These youths carrying machetes and making idiotic gang signs, wouldn’t exist if they were married and had home ownership and knew a legit trade.
- Gender identiy: I think the bit abot warped sexuality covers that, but anyway, l think you can be religous in a secular society and avoid all that
So, l’m religous and not right wing. You cannot attribute your political views to the Founding Fathers or religions.
The right wing / left wing thing is a lower level than religion, religion overarches politics.
You are right wing becaue you’ve been convinced by a speaker. So that’s my point: These speakers, via dogwhistle, are talking to your base desires: materialism. Where sexual pleasure is the greatest Good. Then there’s money, food, They are playing to these things via innuendoes or more blatantly. Beware! I explain here why Right Wing cannot do philosophy.
