I will say this, I think there is much more to marriage than “I think you’re hot and I enjoy spending time with you,” or even “we think a lot of the same things.”
Conservative structures bring an added element, things that go beyond romance and contribute strongly to a stable house where children receive a coherent, strong, non-disjointed upbringing, and everybody in the family generally feels a sense of loyalty, union and purpose that goes beyond mom and dad’s sexual tension.
This is less and less possible. Which also contributes to the state (oh my such coincidence) filling the empty space. Parents these days largely give some loose input to what is essencially the state bringing up their children, and their houses are largely a few posters of things they like plus the big monolith of state apparati.
This is also why divorces are now not a matter of if, but of when. When mom or dad gets bored of mom or dad.

Certain kinds of women lust after power and money in men. A lot depends on what circles you move in. Obviously most do not (I think the fact that there are 8 billion humans would attest to that). What attracts people to each other is chemistry. In the past, ugly rich/powerful men had to kidnap women (probably girls in reality) and force them to have sex with them, women/girls who would have doubtless far preferred a handsome man who was kind to them and age appropriate. If the chemistry is there it’s there, regardless of how much money or power a person has, or how seemingly unsuitable you are for each other (nature doesn’t give a shit about that).
Ps. How dare a woman expect the father of her children to pay child support, when statistically the relationship has more than likely broken down because of HIS infidelity/domestic abuse. And of course women NEVER have their own mortages, or contribute to mortgages…

There needs to be a competition to find a new word for ‘hypocritical post-modern wankers who claim to be the moral standard-bearers for humanity, when in reality they are part of the cult-of-going-with-the-current-thing-no-matter-how-insane-and-anti-science-it-is’.
